Flip. The idea that Michael Jackson is dead is still very difficult to comprehend. I can understand why people had crazy ideas about Elvis being abducted by aliens. Accepting the fact that such an ever-present personality has just disappeared is very strange. Michael Jackson was probably the last proper music icon that a lot of us had left. Although he put his best stuff out long before I was born, his music always seemed to permeate my life. I remember seeing the ‘Dangerous’ album cover at an early age and thinking it was the coolest thing ever. There is no doubt he was a very strange person, but that doesn’t detract from his great music. Here’s to you Michael Jackson, the last proper enigma of pop.
You’ve heard them all before, but these are two of my faves. TURN IT UP.

I know what your saying about the Dangerous cover- I had the poster on bedroom wall for atleast 5years and would stare at it for what seemed like forever- everytime I would see something for the first time, it was just so vast.
Man in the mirror is probably my personal favourite aswell- thanks for this post.
