Cerrone – Supernature (Kevin Saunderson edit)

Together with Giorgio Moroder Jean-Marc Cerrone is seen as Europe’s most important contribution of the Disco-Sound. ‘Supernature’ was one of his biggest hits and has been re-hashed and edited by a tonne of artists since it’s first release in 77′. This track is a weird one, maybe it has been wrongly tagged in my library- I dono! Its defo not Kevin Saunderson remix that was just released on the History Elevate CD but it could possibly be an edit that was released in 96′.  Cant find any previews online of this, so I cant tell. Some awesome key action and extra breakdowns but this could possibly be an extended mix. If anyone can shed light on this I would be grateful- if not sit back and enjoy.

    Hi,

I think that this is just extended version done by Mr. Cerrone himself from 1977.
Great track, piece of history :) …

The version you’ve got here is the ‘Original Version’ that came with two Kevin Saunderson mixes on Network Records release in 1994.

It was pressed on clear vinyl.

Network Records were based in Birmingham.

These two facts may be connected.

I think Mr Saunderson simply chose this version as the one to be played as his “final song” on the eponymous compo this is from. Don’t think it’s his mix.
