Seminal house classic given a really nice and subtle remix from one of NYC’s finest Justin Strauss back in 1990. Sounding fresher than it did 20 years ago I still can’t get enough of those pads, I think 808 state single handed-ly inspired a new generation of emotive house producers…
From the notes “Pacific 0101, 212, and 516 are Justin Strauss remixes which all use the clarinet and loon samples from 202, but restore and more prominently feature the original bassline, and use percussion more akin to the original.”
