Todd Terry remix of the stone cold Paradise Garage classic ‘Weekend’. This really showcases how talented Terry was at flipping tracks, turning this disco classic into a choppy detuned 89 house slammer. Supposedly Terry used to sample ‘knocks’ on his fridge, chop em down and use them as snares, not sure if that’s true but i’m yet to hear anyone create quite the vibe this guy brought to the party.
