During the interview with Bobby Jewell at sweetandsound things got pretty diverse, we started talking music and lots of weird terms got thrown about… Japanese Kraftwerk, Lady Gaga Italo and Yacht house are a few of the top of my head.  Here is a selection of what came out of the first set of deliberations, and we got Bobby to talk you through them

Ossie – Ossie Baba

Via Dan Hancox really, amazing African/UK funky track by East London producer Ossie, also disappointingly his best by miles. youtube

Obsidian Pond- sundog sinners

Massive game changing anthem, still blows me away how good this is. Obsidian Pond’s a very talented teenager in a much hyped North England band that I think he’s sick of. Video by Sweet and Sound resident twink Felix Lee. youtube

Art Of Noise – Moments In Love

Big Trevor Horn fan myself, last time I heard this Alex Nut dropped it into a set of Yacht Rock and classic rap songs, time just stood still really, easily one of my favourite sets of 2010 so far. Great video as well, got that whole Malcolm Mclaren vibe to it. youtube

Museum of Bellas Artes – Who do you love

MOBA are three girls from Sweden, that should be enough to sell it to you. youtube

MUSEUM OF BELLAS ARTS | WHO DO YOU LOVE

Super Value 8 – A1

Possibly the only Super Value track that I really truly love, slow-mo disco with the warmest synths you’ll ever hear, listened to this only repeat so many times, again like Ossie, Riccio hasn’t done anything else that can even touch this, shame. youtube
