Slimey acid madness here in the form of Abe Duque’s classic remix of Miss Kitten’s classic – Requiem for a hit. I remember hearing this every week in the bar of Belfast’s almighty Shine back in the good old days. Abe’s trademark sleaze and wooden block give this a familiar yet original feel. Perfect to give the night a darker vibe.

This is a great one to google, you should try it. This is a really nice track to have on, very loopy, and its repetitive nature really brings out the groove and the subtle little treats. Extremely funky. On the topic of funk, you should check the original track in which this is a re-edit of, Bill Withers – You Got The Stuff, its truly truly amazing, the re-edit is basically the latter half of the ‘long version’ beefed up a touch. Naturally, we will up this very soon.
