I can’t believe this hasn’t been posted before, this was my 2nd ever vinyl ( Depeche Mode- People are People was my first), I managed to pick it up for 50p!! I remember i used to play the b side of it all the time, cant find an mp3 for it tho.
A bit-o history- Fade to Grey was the band’s most successful single. It was recorded at Genetic Sound Studios and released as a single on Polydor Records on 10 November 1980. It became a huge dance floor hit and entered the singles charts in early 1981 peaking at no.8 in the UK and reaching no.1 in several other countries.
