For me, one of Serge Santiago brightest moments, and possibly least well know!…… (again cropping up on a fair few Ewan Pearson sets 4 or 5 years ago) this is close to a perfect tune. Beautiful pastiche analogue synths and some 909 work, complimenting the vocal perfectly.

Haunting synths and a bassline created to accompany one’s journey to hell, this is one dark and moody masterpiece by techno’s finest, Mathew Jonson. I remember buying this on vinyl when I was really drunk one night and completely forgot about it until it arrived in the post a few days later (I’ve done this a few times and throughly recommend it). When I first heard it sober I was completely blown away. Surprisingly though, this track didn’t do particularly well in comparison to Jonson’s lengthy discography, but it shall remain a firm favorite of ours forever. 4″50 is when the magic happens.

One of Ireland finest producers who shot to fame a year or two ago when his track Wish exploded onto the techno scene. Another track Arabaeque was championed by Luciano and used to close many of his sets across the globe including his awesome Fabric cd. Here’s a much less well known track by him, titled Parelo. Great electronic workout which should appeal to IDM fans as much as to those of detroit techno and even trance.
