Trentemoller – Le Champagne

Some tell tale trentemoller touches, but this is certainly not the sound you’d expect from the great dane these days. This is one of his first releases and its a techy disco sizzler!

It’s still selling big on beatport etc, so i’m afraid we can only offer a preview. Enjoy.

CHRIS ISAAK – Dubbed Out Games (TrenteMøller’s Unreleased Mix)

9999008821-l

THAT bootleg of Chris Issak’s ‘Wicked Game’ by TrenteMøller, it was put out in 2005 as a bootleg under the alias “The Businessman” but has just been released on white label here (phonica) this week… Massive minimal summer hit ensues! And it’s basically a very well executed remix of a pop classic – Should be popular with the likes of Luciano and Villalobos. It has a kinda reggae/ minimal vibe with a tinge of dubstep, pretty fitting with the sound out there now.

Depeche Mode- Wrong (Magda's Scallop Funk Remix)

The pick of the remixes from Depeche Mode’s- Wrong remix ep, which features remixes from Frankie, Trentemoller, Boys Noize and dim. The others in the pack are fairly bland and miss the whole point of the remix,  laden with terrible synths and lackluster production. Nowhere near reflects the work these guys are capable of. Either way we get this Magda remix and a decent Frankie one. Sticking with the dark vibe Magda nails the remix, managing to keep the vibe Depeche Mode brought to the original. Nice groovy bassline and a drum pattern that resembles Duotheque- Logo (in video), a favourite of Magdas’, keeping it simple seems to have worked with this one.
