You may be familiar with some of the previous Den Haan stuff we have posted over the last couple of months. If not, Den Haan are firm favorites of Glasgow’s long-running Sub club Haunt Optimo Espacio, as well as successfully working up a sweat at Fabric and Disco Bloodbath with their own brand of electrifying macho-disco ouvre. All the dark essence of High NRG Italo and sleazy cosmic- these guys are defo doing something unique and we love it!

I first went to Optimo about 4 years ago with some of my friends up in glasgow and was really surprised to find a night that had such diverse obscure music on offer (with lots of fit birds there as well!!!), from punk to disco to realllly weird stuff to krautrock to full on stomping techno……Optimo halloween parties have always been a firm favourite of mine, always a little different to the normal fancy dress, always a little sicker.

OPTIMO – BBC INTRODUCING

Finally seeing a 12″ release after many years in the T&T  record box! This is a huge dance floor orientated disco edit .

T & T are Tim Sweeney (Beats In Space) and Tim Goldsworthy (DFA/ loving hand). “Don’t Stop (T&T Version)” has been pumped by the likes of 2 Many DJ’s, James Murphy, Horse Meat Disco, Optimo, Shit Robot, and a few other friends for the past 3 years. Finally, this floor filler sees the light of day. Backed with another reworked classic on the B-side, this EP takes a peak inside some of the exclusive mixes used in a T&T DJ set.
