Last week we posted up a video of Henrik Schwarz and Bugge Wesseltoft performing a live recreation of ‘Leave My Head Alone Brain‘. RBMA have hit us up with some more videos of the pair performing, for you to enjoy. first up is the performance at the Royal Festival Hall last Friday at the Resident Advisor & Red bull Music Academy joint event. Those that were in attendance would agree that it was a great night from the start with these guy, till the end with DJ Sprinkles ripping it up in the foyer.

Here is another showing the pair improvise a song during their couch session, using a mix of analogue equipment and Ableton- the video shows Schwarz using the amazing plugin he designed for Ableton the ‘Schwarzenator’.

Here’s a great balearic track from 80’s Dane rockers Laidback.  These were obviously some beach and reggae loving dudes considering most their album art has a sunset and/or palm tree . I’m surprised this track was only released as a b-side considering how inescapably catchy it is. It sounds as  fresh as ever, and is crying out for some kind of edit/remix.

Who cares that he love Nazi Style, or that his son stormed Parliament in protest against the fox hunting ban(really Bryan Jr., I’m sure there are more important issues to get jailed over)? This is where an original blueprint for Punk-Funk gets taken for a magic carpet ride through Manchester’s seminal club the Hacienda , to the 21C dancefloor of NYC where Cole and Pocketknife regularly rock the lofts of Brooklyn and beyond. Absolutely loving this remix of a track by early eighties Punk-Funkers Mancs Manicured Noise- rehauled disco style for the dancefloor by Cousin Cole of Brooklyn USA. Really messed up and unique, and progressively gets crazier! could see this being tanned across the board from the likes of Ricardo Villalobos to Tim Sweeney. The vinyl has a couple of other sweet remixes on it aswell so keep an eye open for it when its out at the end of November!

Possibly one of the Elvis’ best ever tracks, Pilooski hasnt done to much to it apart from giving it a rather suiting beat and some other frills like bongos. The original is so great anyway, real quirky and exotic, very cut back and very tasty. This is a real treat, fishy tarts.
